Our Mission and Vision

India Transformed! raises support and awareness for programs that empower vulnerable children,women and communities in India. By delivering hope through faith lives are transformed spiritually, socially and economically. Our vision is for all people in India to live an abundant life.

About Us

Our story began over 30 years ago with 28 street children desperately needing a safe place to call home. Recognizing the inequalities of life and need for abandoned children to have hope for a better future, we started a school for abandoned children so these children could have a safe childhood filled with love, access to education and career opportunities.

Over time our vision expanded to help destitute women living on the streets to find a way to improve their socio-economic status so they could care for their children and keep their families intact. This resulted in the creation of ARISE! Women’s Empowerment Program that teaches vocational and literacy skills through sewing.

We have a holistic approach to community development. Our Community Partnership and Transformation Program trains local people to become leaders through education, life skill training, job creation and offers hope for everlasting change that can affect generations to come by lifting people out of poverty.

Today we continue with our original mission and seek passionate partners that want to bring hope to India’s forgotten people who struggle with meeting the basic needs for survival by empowering them with resources to thrive through education, skill development and everlasting hope.
